The Skriker

Performing as the Skriker, a malevolent and ancient shapeshifting fairy, I took on the challenge of embodying fourteen different personas, as well as attempting to comprehend the complex character who morphed into them. While my most significant challenge was authenticity (how do you convincingly portray multiple people who are actually one fairy who doesn’t always understand humans enough to convincingly portray them?), it was also an intense and rigorous study of the body in space, the intricacies of love, revenge and human relationships, and how to change costumes in double-quick time.

The production was positively reviewed in The Daily Princetonian and The Princeton Packet.
